From discovery towards validated biomarkers
MiND has completed initial discovery studies in MND/ALS models and identified disease-associated molecular signatures. Our focus is now on validating selected findings and progressing approaches to blood-based measurement.
What the early findings tell us
The discovery work has identified molecular differences between disease and control models. These findings provide candidates for further investigation and a basis for testing their relevance in additional samples.
Building evidence for future applications
Our work brings together candidate prioritisation, biological validation and assay development. The aim is to build evidence that can support future clinical evaluation and informed collaboration with research and industry partners.
